City of Boston (Department of Innovation & Technology) Senior Digital Storyteller (2019-present)

Pitch, shoot, edit and package videos that connect communities and tell the stories of residents within Boston. Managed a group of summer interns to cultivate storytelling skills for college. Won three awards for work on a short-form documentary for the city; created the 2021 State of the City documentary for the mayor and major Boston news stations; created three videos with the all-time most views and engagement on the City of Boston’s social channels. Work with all departments within the city to create engaging and relevant video stories for the city's social media channels, the press and boston.gov.

STYR Labs Content Director/Producer (2017-2018)

Managed content from five freelancers, copyedited and produced content to develop a creative content strategy alongside CMO that now drives 99 percent of the engagement within the STYR health and fitness apps and front-door websites.

KPHO/KTVK (CBS 5/ 3TV, Meredith) Web production intern (2017)

Created content for breaking news stories for the CBS 5 / 3TV websites & respective apps; managed social media, live streams and push alerts.

Phoenix Sports Bureau (Cronkite News, PBS) Sports Reporter/Videographer (2016-2017)

Pitched, shot and edited feature stories, breaking news stories and in-depth packages, one of which was the fifth-most viewed video in Cronkite News history in 2016. Covered Kansas City Royals Spring training, the Arizona Cardinals, ASU Athletics and enterprise stories such as opioid addiction across the sports world.

Olympic Games, Rio 2016 (Cronkite News, PBS) Reporter/Videographer (Summer, 2016)

Hand-selected as one of 22 students from the Cronkite school to travel to Rio de Janeiro and create content for various Arizona outlets. While there, [k2] [k3] was one of three chosen to be a 12News correspondent and was selected to produce feature stories and packages in Rio de Janeiro on the culture & Olympic athletes, which resulted in a top-10 most-viewed Cronkite News video in 2016.

The Arizona Republic (Gannett) Sports Reporter Intern (Spring 2015)

Wrote three+ feature stories[WC4] , profiles & recaps for sports ranging from the high school to professional level, including the 2015 Pro Bowl practices & the NCAA women’s basketball tournament. Thorough researcher for seasoned reporters in newsroom.

House of Sparky (SB Nation affiliate) Reporter (2015)

Beat reporter for ASU football; output of two+ stories a week including recaps, features and recruiting news that was consistently at the top of the analytics board in social interactions.

Walter Cronkite Sports Network Editor (2013-2015)

ASU men’s basketball & baseball team beat writer and analyst for biweekly studio segments. Wrote a feature piece that places 15th in most views in site history. Editor for ASU Softball.
